Ken qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1955 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1968.

Having worked in industry he took the decision to set up his own practice and became self-employed in 1972. He initially worked from home, later taking premises in Churchtown as the practice began to grow. He moved into the buildings from which the practice operates today in 1981.

Ken is now a consultant to the business.
